At this time, I am not contracted with insurance and considered an out-of-network provider. I am happy to provide a superbill so you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

What is walk & talk therapy? How do I know if this is right for me?
Walk and talk therapy is the practice of psychotherapy while walking outdoors. This modality may be a good fit if you prefer the experience of movement while talking, enjoy being outdoors, or if talking side-by-side feels more comfortable than talking while face-to-face.
Some things to consider about walk and talk therapy include…
Weather: Walk and talk sessions are available on a weather-dependent basis. Your health and safety comes first!
Confidentiality: Due to the nature of this modality, confidentiality is limited and additional consent is required. If your confidentiality is a concern, we can chat through possible workarounds, but please note this modality may not align with your needs if you are seeking 100% privacy during your therapy session.
Intention: While walk and talk is a great way to get healthy movement in, the focus is on the therapeutic content and not on exercise.
Pace: I will guide our route and manage time during our session, however you will be responsible for setting the pace and communicating your needs (just like in a regular talk therapy setting)!
If you are interested in using walk and talk therapy during our time together, let me know and we can chat through the nitty gritty details together.

What is integrative psychotherapy mean?
Integrative psychotherapy means we look at the big picture of your mental health. So many factors influence our mental wellbeing including sleep, nutrition, exercise, relationships and more. By taking an integrative approach to mental health services, I work with clients to move towards wellbeing across all aspects of life, ensuring your care is reflective of the true points in your life where you need support and change. Sometimes this means a referral to a dietician, sleep specialist, or movement studio you are interested in. Other times this means collaborating with prescribers, primary care providers or schools.
TLDR; Your mental health is not just limited to the 50 minutes per week we work together, so expect our work together to encompass every unique part of your mental health.

How long will we work together?
All sessions are 50 minutes, unless agreed upon otherwise. How long you are in therapy for will be based upon your needs and goals. Some clients utilize therapy until they find relief from their current challenges, while others utilize therapy as a preventative/self-care measure. Whichever camp you fall into, we will create a plan that works for you!
