Individual Talk Therapy (50 minutes)

My rate for a 50-minute session is $175. If cost is a barrier to accessing therapy, please let me know as I reserve a portion of my caseload for sliding scale clients. To learn more about sliding scale eligibility, please read more here.

PAYMENT

You will be asked to keep a card (debit, credit, HSA, FSA, etc) on file using Ivy Pay. After the first session, Ivy Pay will send you a text with a secure link leading to a page where you enter your card information and approve the first charge. I will charge the card after each session. You will receive a receipt via text in the same thread as the original invitation text. If you need to update your payment card, simply use the link from the original text.

For more information about Ivy Pay, please visit the FAQ or review Ivy Pay’s Terms of Use.

INSURANCE

I am not in network with insurance providers. I will provide a super bill for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. It is best if you contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment to determine if you have out-of-network benefits and clarify the terms of your plan. There is typically a 1-800 number on the backside of insurance cards that you can call to inquire about out-of-network benefits. Service codes to ask about include:

90832 - individual therapy, 30 minutes

90832 - individual therapy, 45 minutes

90837 - individual therapy, 60 minutes

90839 - individual therapy for crisis, up to 60 minutes

Speaking Engagements
I am available for educational presentations on a variety of topics related to youth and adolescent mental health. Presentations can be geared towards PreK-12th grade youth, parents/caregivers, educational staff, or the community. Please contact me with details about your event to inquire about this service.

My approach to therapy is judgement-free, compassionate, authentic, and honest. Therapy with me looks like a sanctuary to tune out the hustle and bustle of life, and instead tune into your inner wisdom. During our time together, we will focus on your own mental musings; how do you experience the world? What does that mean for you? How do you see yourself evolving in the ways you experience the world?

All change begins with awareness. When you start to examine what is happening in your inner mind and life, you begin to develop a greater understanding of who you are and what you need to feel fulfilled. Together we work to understand what is missing in your life and what shifts you can make to feel more fulfilled.

I believe the role of the therapist is to be your cheerleader, advocate and guide. The therapeutic process can be transformative and it is an honor to sit with my clients as they step towards more joy.

Therapeutic approaches

dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of talking therapy that helps people learn to manage their emotions, cope with challenges, and improve their relationships. It's based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) but is adapted for people who experience intense emotions., or discomfort with emotions.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that helps people change unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. It's based on the idea that how people think about situations can affect their feelings and behaviors.

acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a type of talk therapy that helps people deal with difficult thoughts and feelings in a healthier way. Instead of trying to avoid or get rid of these negative thoughts, ACT encourages people to accept them as a natural part of life. The goal is to focus on what truly matters to you and take actions that align with those values, even when it's uncomfortable.

trauma-informed practices

Trauma-Informed Therapy is a type of counseling that recognizes how past traumatic experiences can impact your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I create a safe and supportive environment, understanding that trauma can affect how you see the world. The goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered as you work through your trauma. We focus on not re-triggering those painful memories, focusing instead on building trust and resilience.

attatchment-based therapy

Attachment-Based Therapy focuses on the relationships you formed early in life, especially with caregivers, and how these relationships shape your current behavior and emotional well-being. The therapy helps you understand how your early attachments may influence your relationships now, including how you connect with others or cope with stress. The goal is to develop healthier, more secure relationships by addressing any unmet needs or unresolved issues from the past.

person-centered therapy

Person-Centered Therapy is a type of counseling that focuses on you as the expert of your own life. Instead of the therapist telling you what to do, they provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.

When you feel truly heard and accepted, you're more likely to discover your own solutions and grow in a way that feels right for you. This therapy is all about helping you connect with your inner strengths and guiding you toward personal growth and self-acceptance.

If you have specific questions or requests regarding your treatment, please share these with me during our first appointment. I practice radical transparency with my clients and empower you to ask any questions you may have about our work together.
